USCCB Podcast of the Readings:

Everyone of you who does not renounce all his possessions
cannot be my disciple.

If we love the World, we become the enemy of God. True Christian is the one who keeps his one eye on the World and other eye on Jesus. Christian life can be compared to a Soldier who tries to walk on the land full of hidden mines, he must check every step with the detector before he steps in to the next step. Today the creation has lost the flavour of God their Creator and living in the power of self will. The nature itself is groaning with pain for the Salvation.

Every Christian is a Priest who walks on the land and destroys the spell of Worldly possession and spread love & charity the essence of God on this Earth. Every Baptised Christian has Vows, he has a Vow of Priesthood, Vow of Prophesy, Vow of Kingship.  If a Christian does not keep these Vows of Worship, Proclamation and Charity then he can not be called as Christian because he does not believe in his Baptism and identity.

Today the Christian life has become a fancy life , no one knows their real identity. Some Christians create their own Christian identity as per their conveniences and call themselves Christians. A Christian is the one who keeps the Values of Jesus at the centre of his life, he will not compromise these values at any circumstances , not even at the point of Physical death or persecutions because these values worth much more than the Worldly Values of life. These kinds of people are humble, insulted, persecuted, poor in Spirit but rich in the Kingdom of God. They embrace the Crosses of Suffering as a sweet sacrifice and offer it Jesus who has become the role model of suffering by sacrificing his life on the Cross.

Jesus does not care for the cost of the discipleship but he cares for your soul because he does not want  to lose a single soul on this Earth. If we are living a life according to our Baptism let recognise our identity and live as Priests of worship, Prophets of Proclamation of the Gospel in words & deeds , Kings of love and Charity and transform this Earth in to Heaven. when we live this life , our life will reflect the Eight Beatitudes of Christ and the mysteries of Christ Jesus  & Kingdom of God will be revealed to us on this Earth.
