Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.

St. Thomas was the last Apostle to Believe Jesus Resurrection but he was the first one accept him as Lord and God of his life. To recognize the Divinity of Jesus is beyond Human Wisdom but a direct revelation from God. According to the traditions Apostles put lot to preach the World  and the lot of India fell in the name of St.Thomas.

St. Thomas was like Jonah hesitated to travel India but  Jesus appeared  him  to  sail through a Jewish Merchant who was travelling to India.  St.Thomas preached the Gospel from Lahore now Pakistan to Cochin Kerala India and formed seven Churches there and later killed in Tamil Nadu  Mylapore India.

In today’s Gospel Jesus calls all people who believed in St.Thomas message “Blessed”, Blessed is a title given by the Church as confirmation being in Heaven or a Citizenship of Heaven. A citizen of Heaven looks at the Heavenly things and carries out the Works of the Heavenly Father. Every Baptized  Indian Christian suppose to imitate Jesus to spread the Gospel of love and forgiveness by witness and Holiness and preach the goodness of the Gospel to others through their life of love and service.

India records 2.3 percent Christians but how many Indians have experienced the love and forgiveness of Jesus , it is hundred percent. We are called to become his Witnesses through out the World in our acts of love by forgiving , loving, helping and dying for others. This is the meaning of true Blessed , one of the Be attitudes of Jesus.

Prayer : Lord Jesus call  me Blessed , so that I may become a saint in your Kingdom by witnessing and spreading the Gospel of love. Amen.
